Get In Touch Through The Internet

Since I started my site, back in 1986, on-line resources for members of the Fellowship in the UK have increased enormously. This is a brief guide to what is available, how it works, and how to make use of it. Do please remember that the internet is not a substitute for AA meetings. However some of the resources can supplement your regular meetings and help those who, for whatever reason, cannot attend regular groups.

Molly's EmAAilers A database of some 500 members of the fellowship from all over the world who would like AA Email pals. You can join the database, search it for members with common interests

Molly's Forum A discussion Forum - post your messages and get involved. Almost 4,000 messages from 500 members. A great source of advice and help. You need to join to use the forum but your anomimity is safe. There is a chat room for members to use. Molly's Front Page - Get in Touch Section

AA UK Web Ring A facility which lists all the AA UK Web Sites. You can browse through them and find one which suits you.

AA Yahoo Clubs There are a number of Clubs which cab be found through the AA UK web ring. Some hold regular on-line meetings, have chat rooms and other facilities. You need to sign up with Yahoo to use the clubs but your anonimity is safe See AAUK Web Ring
Chat Rooms There are chat rooms on Molly's site, Molly's Forum and all the Yahoo Club sites. Do remember that the chances of a casual meeting in a chat room are slight. Better to arrange to chat in a particular room at a particular time. Some Clubs use chat rooms for organised meetings
Molly's Notice Board I have hundreds of visitors to my site and am happy to post notices for members. Locating old friends - that sort of thing. Just drop me an email. Molly's Front Page

On Line Meetings There is a site which lists on line meetings all over the world. There is a meeting somewhere all the time. Problem for us Brits is that they are mostly USA sites and the time difference is a problem - Bear that in mind.

AA Richard's Site Richard has produced "Where to Find" on line in a searchable database. He also has a list of "What on in the UK" - AA Events for your diary http://www.aa-uk.org.uk/
